El día 25 de este mes tendrá lugar el seminario de doctorado Post Philosophies and the Doing of Inquiry in Literacies Education, impartido por la doctora Candace R. Kuby de 16.00 a 19.00 horas. En esta sesión, la Dra. Kuby analizará cómo las post filosofías han inspirado sus prácticas pedagógicas con niños. La Dra. Kuby lleva desde 2010 investigando en sus aulas de jardín de infantes (1º, 2º y 5º grado, sistema británico) en colaboración con la maestra Tara Gutshall Rucker. Ambas conceptualizaron el deseo de alfabetización como una forma de pensar sobre el futuro de las alfabetizaciones, inspirándose en las «nuevas» teorías materialistas postestructural, posthumanista y feminista. Su libro, Go be a writer!: Expanding the curricularlines of literacy learning with children (2016, Teachers College Press), narra su investigación sobre teorías y alfabetizaciones. La Dra. Kuby ha proporcionado tres lecturas sugeridas para la sesión; abrirá espacios para preguntas y discusiones sobre estos.
